Are we a full time school?
It depends on the program you choose to enroll in. We offer full time program tracks as well as individual courses. Both day and night courses are available.
Can I work while going to school?
Yes. Many students choose to work while enrolled in courses at MicroSkills. Both day and night courses are available to suit a variety of personal schedules.
What type of computer experience do we require to enroll in school?
MicroSkills requires little or no computer experience to enroll. Our highly qualified, certified instructors are experienced professionals who provide comprehensive IT training in both the classroom and with one-on-one, hands-on training.
Do we offer financial aid?
Yes, Funding Department advisors are available to assist students with education financing for all of our certification programs. Many different types of loans are available to those who qualify and our advisors are committed to helping you determine the best way to pay for your education.
Can students get a loan to go to school here?
Yes, many types of loan programs are available to those who qualify with payment schedules that are easy and flexible to manage. In addition to private loans, the GI Bill Training Program is available for those who qualify to use the benefits from the GI Bill for technical training education. There are also special governmental loans that are available. Our Funding Department will work with you to determine the best way to finance your education.
Do we have career services and assist students with job placement?
Absolutely. Our Career Services Department is fully staffed with qualified professionals who provide students with job placement assistance and career opportunities. To help students meet their career goals we provide training sessions to assist in building a professional technical resume, learn successful interviewing techniques, and coordinate interviews with prospective employers.
Is MicroSkills an approved school by the state of California?
MicroSkills is approved under California Education Code Section 94915 to operate as a private postsecondary education institution in California. The Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education has determined that this institution’s operational plan satisfies the minimum standards listed in Education Code section 94915(b).
